[ Connor will be waiting outside the cafe for Rogue, leaning against the front window looking just slightly nervous. He's not the best at first impressions unless he's saving someone, a scenario that doesn't arise much in Eudio. But he can certainly handle getting coffee with someone he has a bit in common with.
He brushes his hair out of his eyes where the cool fall breeze has blown it and looks around for anyone else who might be looking around for someone. ]
[He's easier to spot due to his nerves, and Rogue, dressed in jeans and a tshirt to go with her tan motorcycle jacket and matching boots. Since it's chillier, her hair is down and wavy, framing her face and keeping her neck more protected. He's younger looking then she expected, but given the sorts of people and species here, she doesn't assume it means he's actually young.
She offers him a bit of a wave as she approaches, smiling.]
[ That must be her. Connor smiles, offering an awkward wave in return and standing up straight off the wall. For looking young he's pretty tall, pushing 6' in a lanky way. ]
Hey. I'm Connor.
[ And then he's moving to get the door for her, so they can get in out of the wind. The place is pretty empty at this time of day, quiet but for the soft music playing overhead. ]
[They’re both tall, as she’s five foot eight without heels, which her boot has, so she’s a few inches shy of him in the end. Rogue’s definitely not lanky either.]
Ah’m Rogue. [It shouldn’t surprise any woman when a man holds the door, but the mutant takes notice.] Thank you. This a favorite place of yours here?
[ Looks may be deceiving. And he opens the door for everyone -- he opened the door for superman, it's just manners. :) ]
Yeah, I like it. It's quiet this time of day.
[ He lifts two fingers at the server who gestures them to a table against the wall. Connor leads them over and pulls out Rogue's seat before taking his own. ]
So... Why were you asking about powers and magic anonymously? People here are usually pretty open to sharing.
That's a luxury. [But she worked at a night club and a motorcycle repair shop, so she enjoyed her quiet time. Following him into the cafe, she smiles and nods her thanks as she sits.]
Because not everyone's open with that sort of thing. Ah'm still pretty guarded. Plus no pretense of an agenda on my end.
